A step-by-step guide on how access, read, acknowledge and download a policy
Keeping policies up-to-date is essential for ensuring compliance and effective governance within your organization. The Accountable application makes it easy to review and update policies through its intuitive interface. This guide will walk you through the steps to review policies.
Accessing the Policies Section

Log in to your Accountable account.

Navigate to the Policies section.

Find the policy to review.
Reviewing a Policy

Identify policies needing review.

Policies that need attention are marked with a "Needs to be reviewed" label next to them.

Click on the policy name.

This will open the policy document, where you can read through the content.

Scroll to review the policy.

Use the "Scroll to review" button if available to navigate through the document, ensuring you don't miss any sections.

Download the policy (optional).

If you need a local copy, click the Download button to save the policy to your device.

Acknowledge the review.

After reading the policy, check the box indicating that you have read and understood it.

Agree and move to the next policy.

Click the Agree and Review Next Policy button to finalize your review and proceed to the next policy requiring attention.

Tracking Policy Reviews

The dashboard provides a clear overview of which policies have been reviewed and which still need attention.

Use the search bar to quickly locate a specific policy if necessary.
