The ‘One-stop-shop’ for understanding your Organization’s progress within our process so far.
Let's work from the top-left:
Click on 'Assign' near Privacy Officer to establish the Primary Privacy Officer for your Organization within Accountable.
You may now be asking, "Well, who is my Primary Privacy Officer?"
To which I'd reply, "Great question!"
Your Primary Privacy Officer is the person performing the majority of the compliance work / tasks inside of Accountable.
When asked how to define the role of the person in this seat, my answer is often that, it is someone in your Organization who has a bit of authority; When this person asks folks to jump, they typically reply, "How high?"
This is to ensure important compliance tasks get done.
'Team Members' from the dashboard
Will provide you a view of how many User's have been invited in to the Accountable platform, how many are active and how many are currently working their way through training (onboarding).
Team Member Progress
Get a bird's eye view of training progress at-a-glance from the bottom-left, or even invite a new team member right from the dashboard!
Incident Response
Is the window furthest down to the bottom-lefthand side of the dashboard.
While the statistics that are present in this area of the dashboard are interesting, the most important part of this pane is the button that is marked 'Add Incident'.
This button looks the same for a User of Privacy Officer role, AKA everyone.
This is important, since every employee needs to have a way of reporting an 'unauthorized disclosure of PHI' (and do so anonymously, if they so choose) 24/7.
When someone reports an incident, the Privacy Officer of the Organization is notified via email and has a need to follow up on the report as per the regulation.
This window permits. a quick-view into Organizational incidents, to keep you aware in case something needs addressing.
Click on Add Inventory next to Data Inventory from the dashboard
You can also review how many past Data Inventories have been submitted via the dashboard.
Track your policy progress on the upper-right of the dashboard
This chart will represent how far down the road you are from completing the publication of all your templated, Accountable-generated, policy and procedure documents.
Within this pane on the dashboard we can -
-
Gauge how many policies have been published, and how many are still in Draft mode.
-
In addition, by clicking on Add Policy you have the ease of adding a policy right from your dashboard!
Click on Security Risk Assessment on the dashboard
When viewing this pane of the dashboard, you are able to see, categorically, which answers have been entered into Accountable or not for your annual Assessment.
Click on Third Parties from the dashboard
The third-parties pane on the dashboard will allow you to create vendor profiles, draft new agreements, and see how many might be outstanding.
We certainly hope that you have found this Dashboard Overview useful!
